CHILDRENS BOOK FESTIVAL JULY 3RD

On Saturday July 3rd Hyde Fundraisers were delighted to
be involved with the first Manchester Children's Book Festival
at the Manchester University. The event included readings
by Dr Who Authors and we were able to bring some of our
characters to entertain the children and visitors.These
included the debut of our Rhino headed Judoon! In addition
we also had our virtual photoscreen in operation and the
event as a whole raised over £1200 for our nominated
charities.
OLDHAM LIBRARY APRIL 10TH

Oldham Library hosted a Special Star Wars Event on April
10th when Hyde Fundraisers turned to the dark side. Darth
Vader and Stormtroopers invaded the venue to the delight
of the visitors. Other characters dropping in included bounty
hunter Boba Fett, Tusken Raider, X Wing pilot and Darth
Maul. Our appearance raised over £1000 for our nominated
charities!
ASHTON SCI FI CELEBRATION MARCH
27TH

Hyde Fundraisers began the launch of their anniversary
year in style with our event in Ashton on March 27th. K-9
was at Ladysmith Shopping Centre, The Daleks in Arcades
with Davros in control at the Market Hall. Characters making
appearances through the day included Darth Vader, Batman,
Joker, General Thade and Clockwork Droids! TMBC Council
Leader Cllr Roy Oldham also presented an additional donation
which - together with our pledged donations - will help
us raise over £5000 at the event!
LIVERPOOL PHILHARMONIC MARCH 7TH

On Sunday March 7Hyde Fundraisers entertained attendees
to the Liverpool Philharmonic's MUSIC FROM OUTER SPACE concert
with a wide variety of characters from DR WHO and Star Wars.
There were monstrous encounters with Darth Vader, Clockwork
Droid, Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Judoon, Scarecrow, Stormtrooper
and Sec Hybrid to name a few!
LOWRY OUTLET FEBRUARY 13TH/20TH

On Saturday February 13th Hyde Fundraisers invaded Salford's
Lowry Outlet with 'Classic' Dr Who characters and Pudsey
Bear in aid of Children In Need. The following week, 20th,
was the turn for our New Series characters together with
our 'Virtual' greenscreen. The events were well attended
and we hope the public enjoyed their monstrous encounters.
