CHARACTER CURRY FIRST EVENT IN 2026
On Tuesday February 17th Hyde Fundrauisers will be having the first event of 2026. It will be the groups last event in our 40th anniversary year and features -
Characters appearing will include Wallace & Gromit, Predator, Joker, BB8 and a few surprises. Tickets are £20 with children under 10 years at £5. To Book call 0161 371 7474
DOWNING ST
Hyde Fundraisers were delighted to be invited to Downing Street on the occasion of the groups 40th Anniversary. They were met by Jonathan Reynolds MP who congratulated the group on all its incredible community and fundraising work.
NEW DOG ON THE BLOCK
In late December 2025 the group adopted K-9 from our greast supporter Mark Dando. Volunteer Pete Brocklehurst has been hard at work to add mobility to the prop in time for events in 2026

SUPPORT FROM PRODUCER
The group were delighted that Doctor Who Producer Phil Collinson came along to the 2024 Sci Fi Day in Ashton. Previously Hyde Fundraisers have worked with Phil to supply Daleks for the Channel 4 drama It’s a Sin written by Dr Who’s Russell T Davies.
